Tuesday morning at the 2009 AERA (American Educational Research Association) annual meeting, Kurt Squire, Jim Mathews, and I presented for 45 minutes on using mobile media to make place-based games. Afterwards some folks came up and asked if that presentation were going to be available online. We hadn’t thought about it, but decided that we could probably do that fairly easily.
Here’s a 2.2 MB PDF version of the first part of the presentation (that Kurt presented).
For those of you who signed up to play our experimental mobile game, I apologize profusely. I almost had something ready to go, but got side-tracked preparing for my dissertation defense.
